SOLE Fitness has added the SW116 to its home gym lineup, a weight bench built around a 14-setting adjustment system that covers 9 backrest positions and 5 seat angles. The range spans flat through fully upright, giving users the ability to dial in the precise angle for pressing, shoulder, and seated exercises rather than working around a fixed or limited setup.

This level of adjustability is particularly relevant for home gym owners, SOLE Fitness suggests, since a single bench can replace what would otherwise require separate flat, incline, and decline setups. The company also notes that working muscles from multiple backrest angles supports more complete chest, shoulder, and back development, while keeping the overall footprint manageable for smaller spaces.
Consolidating several bench positions into one frame is described as a practical gain for owners working with limited space. SOLE Fitness notes that the SW116 was designed for home gym owners who want equipment built to commercial standards, an approach that shaped the brand’s decisions around materials and construction.
Those decisions are evident in the build. SOLE points to a heavy-duty welded steel structure paired with commercial-grade cushion padding along the bench’s length. The SW116 carries a maximum user capacity of 550 lbs and is designed to maintain stability through repeated heavy use.
SOLE describes the adjustment system as built around precision. The nine backrest positions span flat (0 degrees) through fully upright (90 degrees), while the five seat positions allow users to fine-tune their positioning at each backrest angle. Together, the 14 settings let home gym owners target a specific angle for a given exercise rather than approximating on a bench with fewer options, the company said.
The SW116 Adjustable Bench joins SOLE Fitness’s broader home gym equipment lineup, designed to give owners a single piece of equipment capable of supporting a range of strength training needs and goals.
