CapeBiz Toolkit Launches AI Visibility Blueprint Service for Cape Town SMEs

CapeBiz Toolkit announces the launch of its answer engine optimization services, introducing the AI Visibility Blueprint to help Cape Town businesses assess their online presence and improve how they appear in AI-generated recommendations across platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok.

The announcement comes as consumers increasingly turn to generative AI when researching products and services. According to Adobe's 2025 survey of 5,000 U.S. consumers, 39% had used generative AI for online shopping, and among those users, 55% used it for product research and 47% for product recommendations. CapeBiz Toolkit says its new service is designed to help businesses evaluate how they currently appear across AI-powered search platforms, identify gaps in their online presence, and strengthen their visibility over time.

"Businesses have spent years treating their website as the center of their online presence," CapeBiz Toolkit owner Gerard Mohamed said. "What we're seeing now is that AI platforms build a picture of a business from information published across the web, rather than a single source. That places much greater emphasis on consistency, credibility, and the breadth of a business’s digital footprint."

To help businesses build that broader online presence, Blueprint is centred on high-intent questions prospective customers commonly ask before choosing a business. CapeBiz Toolkit then develops a multi-channel campaign around each topic, adapting the material into articles, videos, podcasts and other formats to expand visibility across the digital touchpoints customers use to research businesses.

The resulting content is published on more than 300 digital platforms, including news websites, video platforms, podcast directories, and other online sources. The agency says new buyer-focused topics are added each month, enabling businesses to gradually build a richer body of publicly available content that reflects their expertise and provides AI systems with a broader, more consistent set of signals when generating recommendations.

"The goal isn't simply to publish more content," the spokesperson added. "It's to ensure businesses are represented consistently across the sources AI systems rely on when generating recommendations. Over time, that broader digital presence helps businesses become more discoverable and creates more opportunities to generate qualified leads."
