Costa Rica Seafood Restaurant for Private Events & Occasions: Custom Menu Update

GigiO recently announced the availability of customizable menus for private events, supporting group dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, and other gatherings at its oceanfront location in Costa Rica.

More information is available at https://www.wearegigi.com/

According to the 2026 Global Travel Trends Report by American Express, two-thirds of global travelers plan a trip this year specifically to celebrate a milestone for someone else. GigiO's private event service and menu are presented to support this pattern of celebration-driven travel by giving groups a dedicated, adaptable dining option built around Costa Rica's Caribbean coast.

"Private dining should feel personal to the guests celebrating it, not just another reservation. Our goal with the private event menu is to give people a way to mark their occasion with food and a setting that reflects the coast we're part of," explains a GigiO spokesperson.

GigiO's regular offering spans categories such as breakfast and brunch, lunch and dinner, pizza, drinks, and Costa Rican coffee. Its seafood and Afro-Caribbean dishes draw on locally sourced ingredients, including plantains, yucca, coconut, and seasonal produce from Limón Province, alongside vegetarian dishes and tropical fruit desserts.

For private events, this same range serves as the foundation for a customized selection, allowing hosts to build a menu suited to their gathering, rather than choosing individual dishes from the standard service.

Private bookings take place on GigiO's oceanfront terrace at Stanford's Square, between Playa Cocles and central Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. The terrace extends directly onto the sand and has hosted group dinners, family gatherings, and small private parties, including occasions tied to milestones such as anniversaries and birthdays, according to the GigiO representative.

The venue's location places it within Costa Rica's south Caribbean coast, an area known for its Afro-Caribbean culinary traditions and oceanfront dining culture, giving hosts a distinct backdrop for celebrations that extends beyond the meal itself.

Beyond dining, GigiO houses Casa de la Poesía, an in-house cultural museum dedicated to Caribbean history, alongside an upstairs gallery showcasing local and regional artists.

GigiO is open daily except Wednesdays, with extended evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
