A Better Body has expanded its Eco-Fin treatment services to address dry and cracked skin on the hands and feet, offering West Madison clients a plant-based, paraffin-free alternative for summer skin recovery.

According to Harvard Health, too much sun exposure can dry out unprotected skin and deplete its natural moisture, leaving it looking rough, flaky, and cracked. A Better Body notes that its Eco-Fin services are designed to address this kind of seasonal dryness, particularly for clients whose skin takes a toll from extended time outdoors.
"The hydrating Eco-Fin treatment uses a blend of plant oils and butters, including jojoba, shea, and sustainably sourced palm oil, combined with pure essential oils," a studio representative explains. "Applied to the hands, feet, or body, it forms a soothing layer that draws moisture into the skin without relying on the petroleum, synthetic dyes, or artificial fragrances found in traditional paraffin treatments."
The treatment is performed by a licensed therapist who warms the formula before applying it directly to the skin. Warm booties or hand mitts are then used to hold the treatment in place before the therapist massages the remaining product in. Session length varies depending on whether it covers the hands, the feet, or both.
The studio recommends it for clients dealing with chapped hands, cracked heels, or general skin dryness brought on by sun and time spent outdoors.
